The San Antonio Stars announced today that Dearica Hamby will miss the remainder of the season after the news of Hamby expecting her first child.
On the year, she has averaged 9.0 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. Hamby also started in 25 games for the Stars this season.
Head coach Dan Hughes gave his congratulations to Hamby.
“Dearica is a wonderful woman and she has our full support during this exciting time,” he said. “We are thrilled for Dearica and Alonzo as they focus on preparing for the addition to their family.”
