Sources: LA Sparks waive rookie Whitney Knight

Whitney Knight has been released by the LA Sparks.

The Los Angeles Sparks have waived Whitney Knight, sources tell Swish Appeal. Knight was drafted in the 2016 WNBA Draft as the 15th overall pick.

With the waive of Knight, room on the roster has been made for their newest player, Sandrine Gruda.
