The team officials for the Atlanta Dream announced today, the next two seasons — 2017 and 2018 — for the team will be played in the Hank McCamish Pavilion on the campus of Georgia Tech.

That being said, home playoff contest for the Dream for the remainder of the 2016 season will also be at McCamish Pavilion due to Philips Arena hosting other events that conflict with the schedule.

Georgia Tech Senior Woman Administrator and Associate Athletic Director Joeleen Akin is very welcoming of Atlanta being on campus:

This will not be the first time that a professional team will be hosted on the Georgia Tech campus. The Atlanta Hawks of the NBA, were hosted on the Tech campus back in 1997 until 1999 while the Omni was demolished and Philips Arena was being to were it previously is right now.

Previously this summer, the Dream hosted and beat the Dallas Wings at McCamish Pavilion.

For the Dream owners, Mary Brock and Kelly Loeffler, they too are excited for where they will call home next season and possibly even this season during the playoffs:
