The Chicago Sky took a hit to their depth at the guard position when Benitjah Laney tore her left ACL. She will now miss the remainder of the season for the Sky.

Last Friday (June 3rd) the Sky were playing the Washington Mystics, when Laney injured her knee in the second quarter. Currently, there is no timetable for when she will return, however, the team knows she will not be back this season.

Laney joined the Chicago Sky last season as the 17th overall pick in the 2015 WNBA Draft. She can play not only the guard position, but the small forward position as well. In her rookie season, she averaged 2.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 11.3 minutes per game.
