The No. 7 Louisville Cardinals have been red-hot recently, as they continue to rise up the rankings ladder. But they have also been scorching in another area: recruiting. Last year, they signed one of the best classes in the country, and then this year, the Cardinals followed that up with another top-tier recruiting class.

And today, Louisville continues to show that they are going to be a force for years to come, as according to sources, they have secured the commitment of Nyah Green, the nation's best player in the class of 2019. We first profiled Green over a year ago, when a video surfaced of the then eighth grader destroying a boys basketball team.

This is a massive get, because at 6-foot-1, she is a towering figure at the point guard position, and has handles reminiscent of Kyrie Irving. Green had visited the Cardinals this past weekend.

More details to come.
