Per reports, Alabama's Trisha Magee will miss the rest of the season because of a left hip injury, as indicated by her head coach, Kristy Curry. The six-foot guard played in 19 games this season with the Roll Tide before being sidelined. She averaged 13.7 minutes, 2.0 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.
Magee is a freshman out of Ellisville, Mississippi, coming out of high school she was a McDonald All-American nominee, as well as USA Today All-USA Player of the Year for Mississippi. She is Presbyterian Christian's--her former high school--all-time leading scoring with over 3,000 career points; she clearly can score. Be on the look out for her return to the court next year after resting her hip for the rest of the season.
