NCAA announces top-10 teams

NCAA Women's Basketball Championship committee announced the top 10 teams as of February 1st.

The NCAA announced today the Championship Tournament top-10 teams. These are only predictions as the season isn't over yet with just under two months before the selection committee decides who makes the tournament and where.

The top four teams in the nation-essentially the number one seeds- would be UConn, South Carolina, Norte Dame and Baylor. Behind them the next group would be Texas, Ohio State, Arizona State, Oregon State, Maryland and UCLA to finish out the remaining team. Even thought they might not have made the top 10, however they were in the conversation: Florida State, Louisville, Mississippi State and Texas A&M.

Although these spots are not set in stone, more attention will be brought to the women's game to watch these teams to see how they do heading into the tournaments. With just a couple of months left in the regular season, there is room for plenty of teams to creep into the conversation of top 10. anything is possible and always a team that ends up being a Cinderella, will these
