Just a few weeks ago the Pac-12 All-time scoring record was broken by Washington’s prolific scorer Kelsey Plum. Last night, another Pac-12 record was broken – this time by Sydney Wiese from Oregon State for most three-pointers made.
Ironically, both players surpassed the previous record held by a Stanford player. Yesterday, Wiese knocked down three triples to move ahead of Candice Wiggins for most made three-pointers in a career.
The Beaver standout now has made 296 three’s (Wiggins had 295) in her career and with lots of games still remaining, Wiese will continue to add to her new record.
