For the Louisville Cardinals, Myshia Hines-Allen will be a key component to the team’s success, plus collectively around the ACC teams have added new competition to play during the non-conference schedule.

It's no secret that the Atlantic Coast Conference has dominated women's basketball for years, and this season will certainly be no exception as revealed at ACC Media Day. Much of this season's strength will come from veteran players who play an integral role in preparing underclassmen during the pre-season. For the Louisville Cardinals, they have high expectations for Myisha Hines-Allen who carried a lot of the load for the Cardinals last season.

With an increase in skill level, coaches in the ACC have made it a priority to beef up their non-conference schedule with new opponents, all in an effort to make it to the NCAA Tournament and be prepared when March Madness.
