Pittsburgh rising sophomore, Yacine Diop, was arrested in late August for multiple offenses regarding an on-campus accident, according to multiple reports.

Even though the incident happened late last month, the case is still active, per the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Diop, a 5-foot-10 forward for the Panthers, was charged with a plethora of wrongdoings: aggravated assault, improper use of an air rifle and disorderly conduct and recklessly endangering another person

Pittsburgh released the following statement:

"This past Thursday, Yacine Diop was given 100 hours of community service. Upon completion of those hours, all charges will be dropped. Yacine expressed sincere regret for her involvement in this situation and we are confident she will exercise better judgment moving forward."

Diop averaged 9.4 points per game last year and 7.2 rebounds.
