Burdick to have foot surgery, out 4-6 weeks

The Atlanta Dream have been struggling of late, and the hits keep coming, as starting forward Cierra Burdick is scheduled to have foot surgery, the Atlanta Dream announced. Burdick, who has been playing well for the Dream, will be out 4-6 weeks.

Atlanta Dream forward Cierra Burdick will undergo surgery on Wednesday morning at Emory Hospital in Atlanta to repair a stress fracture in her left foot.

Burdick has been one of the bright spots for the Dream after being inserted recently into the starting lineup.
