The San Antonio Stars have completed a trade for Atlanta Dream rookie Samantha Logic; the team announced today. In exchange, the Dream will receive the Stars' 2016 second-round pick.

Here is a portion of the release:

The San Antonio Stars have acquired guard Samantha Logic from the Atlanta Dream in exchange for a 2016 second-round draft pick, head coach and general manager Dan Hughes announced today.

A 5-9 guard out of the University of Iowa, Logic was originally selected by the Atlanta Dream in the first round (10th overall) of the 2015 WNBA Draft. So far this season, Logic has played in four games, averaging 5.8 minutes.

This makes two rookies that were previously with the Dream, who are now with the Stars. Earlier this year, Atlanta cut rookie Brittany Hrynko, who came in a trade for Jasmine Thomas. She was later picked up by the Stars and is currently on their roster.
