Seimone Augustus has surgery on knee, out indefinitely

Even though the Minnesota Lynx won today against the Chicago Sky, the team was dealt with a blow as star guard Seimone Augustus is out indefinitely after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery today, the team announced.

The Minnesota Lynx today announced that Seimone Augustus underwent an arthroscopy on her right knee today at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Augustus will be sidelined indefinitely and a further update will be provided when appropriate.

Her teammate Monica Wright, who underwent the same surgery this week, is out indefinitely as well. Augustus is averaging 15.4 points per game this season.
