Former Georgia Tech player Kaela Davis has given her verbal pledge to South Carolina, per multiple sources, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
Two weeks ago, Davis made headway when she made her announcement to transfer from Georgia Tech. And from the very beginning, people linked her and the Gamecocks. With the addition of the 6-foot-2 guard, Staley now has an elite perimeter wing with unlimited shooting range.
Also, the South Carolina head coach sent out this cryptic tweet:

Davis should be able to give South Carolina posts, A'ja Wilson and Alaina Coates, a lot space to operate in the paint. She was the Yellow Jackets' leading scoring at 19.6 points, and also first-team All-ACC this past season. Davis will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Staley just sent out this tweet confirming the news:
Yes the paperwork is officially in on our new addition. Please welcome @KaelaD3 to the @GamecockWBB family. It's great to be a Gamecock!
