Video: NBA and WNBA stars take part in #LeanInTogether public service campaign

The NBA and WNBA have partnered with LeanIn.Org for a public service campaign geared toward men to be champions of gender equality.

On Wednesday, LeanIn.Org, a non-profit organization announced that they have partnered with the NBA and WNBA to launch their #LeanInTogether public service campaign aimed at men.

LeanIn.Org is an organization whose mission is to empower women achieve their goals in life as well as gender equality. It does so through online lectures, an online community, and more. The #LeanInTogether campaign targets men and encourages them to be part of that process as well. Part of the pitch is that men who are committed to gender equality, can also lead better lives personally and professionally.

To help kick off the campaign, there's also a video featuring a number of NBA stars. Miami Heat players Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade, Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James, Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook, Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry, and Atlanta Hawks center Al Horford all made appearances. In addition, WNBA stars like Tulsa Shock guard Skylar Diggins, Chicago Sky forward Elena Delle Donne, Seattle Storm guard Sue Bird, and New York Liberty forward Swin Cash were in it too.
