NCAA Women's Tournament Elite Eight, Day 1 GameThread

Happy Sunday everyone, and welcome to the Elite Eight!

At 12 p.m. ET, the South Carolina Gamecocks will play the Florida State Seminoles in the Greensboro Region Final. The winners of this game will get their first NCAA Final Four bid in school history though I will note that South Carolina did make the AIAW Final Four back in 1980, however.

At 8:30 p.m. ET, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will play the Baylor Lady Bears. Both teams played each other last season in the Elite Eight, with the Irish winning.
