The San Antonio Stars announced that they have re-signed Danielle Robinson to a contract on Monday. Robinson was the 7th overall pick in 2011, all for the Stars. In 2014, she averaged 12.9 points and 5.3 assists per game.
This is definitely a no-brainer move for the Stars, given that Robinson's production as a scorer has increased year after year since she was drafted to San Antonio. She has also has made two consecutive All-Star teams in 2013 and 2014.
To top it all off, Robinson was one of the members who tried out for the 2014 Team USA FIBA World Championship team. Though she didn't make the team, Robinson figures to be in the mix for future international teams once Sue Bird, Diana Taurasi, and Lindsay Whalen retire.
