It looks like today is a big day for Dream signings. Hot after announcing that Erika de Souza has signed a new contract with the Dream, the Dream re-sign one player from the 2014 roster and three other players.
"Coach Cooper and I are excited to add Roneeka's veteran leadership and blue collar work ethic to this team," said Dream President and General Manager Angela Taylor. "She is the consummate professional who will bring a lot to our system on both ends of the court. It is also great to bring Nadia back for her second year in the WNBA. She has worked extremely hard all off-season and is one of the talented young post players in our league. Roneeka, Nadia, Ify and Sequoia are all great additions as we continue to seek a WNBA Championship."
Nadia Gomes Colhado signs a new contract with Atlanta. This is the second season for Colhado in the WNBA. Last year, she was primarily a backup to de Souza. She started 16 games and averaged 7.8 minutes per game. She averaged 2.8 ppg/1.6 rpg for Atlanta.
The Dream also acquire veteran Roneeka Hodges. Hodges has played for Houston, Minnesota, San Antonio, Indiana, and Tulsa since 2005 and has played 297 games in the WNBA. Last season, Hodges started all 34 games for Tulsa, averaging 18.3 minutes per game with 5.3 ppg. Hodges was an unrestricted free agent this season.

She has played overseas for teams in Italy, Slovakia, and Israel. She was Eurobasket.com's All-German DBBL Player of the Year in 2011 and a Eurobasket.com All-Eurocup Honorable Mention in 2013.
Ify Ibekwe also signed a training camp contract with Atlanta. Ibekwe played three games for Seattle in 2011. She has played for teams in France, Spain and Belgium and is currently playing with Girona in Spain's Liga Femenina, where she is averaging 16.5 ppg/10.2 rpg for the 3rd place club.
