According to the Chicago Sky, Epiphanny Prince of Chicago has been traded to the New York Liberty in exchange for Cappie Pondexter.  The trade brings both guards back to their home towns.

From the press release from the Chicago Sky:

The Chicago Sky have acquired the rights to veteran guard Cappie Pondexter in exchange for Epiphanny Prince. Entering her 10th WNBA season, Pondexter owns career averages of 18.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. Per team policy, contract terms were not disclosed.

"Being able to play for a team and coach with an opportunity to win a championship is exciting," said Pondexter. "And coming home to do it is the best part!"

The Chicago Sky will be Cappie Pondexter's third team since 2006. She played for the Phoenix Mercury from 2006-09 and for the New York Liberty from 2010-14.  This is Prince's first trade, her first year with the Sky being 2010.
