NBA All-Star Celebrity Game and Rising Stars Challenge Open Thread

We'll see how Showtime Shoni does during one of NBA All-Star Weekend's more fascinating events.

NBA All-Star Weekend's here, so here's a rundown on the All-Star events happening on Friday:

NBA All-Star Celebrity Game

When and Where: 7 p.m. ET on ESPN at Madison Square Garden

Shoni Schimmel, Skylar Diggins, and Tina Charles will play in tonight's celebrity game, where you can expect that they would be the best players on the court, but it's another question as to whether they will really go all out tonight. This is a celebrity game after all.

But so you know, the other players who will be here include but aren't limited to:

The coaches include New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony and filmmaker Spike Lee, while ESPN's Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg will be coaching the other team. Isaiah Austin, who had a very nice moment with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver in last year's draft will also be an assistant coach.

Rising Stars Challenge

When and Where: 9 p.m. ET on TNT at Barclays Center

The NBA's rookies and sophomores game will have a new twist this season with a Team USA vs. Team World format:
