Duke forward Kendall Cooper will not be at Duke next semester, and thus will miss the rest of the season, according to multiple reports.
Here is the release from the school website:
Duke head women’s basketball coach Joanne P. McCallie announced Saturday that forward Kendall Cooper will not be enrolled at the institution for the spring, 2016 semester. She will be eligible to return to Duke in the fall of 2016.
A product of Carson, Calif., Cooper had seen action in all 11 contests averaging 3.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 blocks.
"While this is an unfortunate experience, I am confident Kendall will learn from this and be a better person because of it," McCallie said. "Kendall will remain a part of the Duke women’s basketball family and will receive the full support of everyone in our program."
