Gonzaga center Emma Wolfram is out for the season after suffering a torn ACL in practice earlier in the week, according to multiple reports.
"The injury is disappointing on a lot of levels," GU head coach Lisa Fortier said. "Emma means so much to our team. With that said, we know she will work hard to come back from this injury and be even stronger this time next season. She will continue to be an asset for our team and have a positive impact until she can rejoin us on the court."
She was a vital component to last year's team, a team that was within an earshot of reaching the Elite Eight.
