Asia Durr makes college choice today at 3 pm Eastern

Today's the big day. After waiting all year, #1 prospect Asia Durr will finally choose her school at 3 pm Eastern in Atlanta.

Today at 3 p.m. Eastern the top ranked prospect of the 2015 class, Asia Durr, will make the choice that everyone who follows women's college basketball has been waiting for.  If you're in the Atlanta area, the main event will take place at the John Paul II Student Activities Center at St. Pius X Catholic High School in Atlanta.  (For any readers in Atlanta, the address of St. Pius X is 2674 Johnson Road NE.)

Durr has narrowed her choices down to Baylor, Duke, Louisville, Maryland and Notre Dame.  Why all the hubbub?  Because in addition to being the #1 prospect in the US, she's a big thing locally as well.  She's the reigning Miss Georgia Basketball and two-time AAA Player of the Year, and she led led St. Pius X to the AAA State Championship in 2013 and 2014.  She has represented the United States on U16 and U17 national teams, including picking up a gold medal at the FIBA America's Cup in 2013 and winning Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament...and in 2014 this summer, she won more gold with the U17 team at the FIBA World Championships.

M Robinson's already made his prediction regarding which school Durr will select.  You know, if Asia Durr is as good as they say she is, we might be writing about her in four years or so when it comes time to think about the WNBA draft.
