Canada vs Mozambique Game Preview: Team Canada kicks off Day 1 of the 2014 FIBA World Championships

Team Canada gets going early Saturday morning, facing Mozambique in first game of pool play at 7 a.m. EST.

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Team Canada is in action tomorrow when they face Team Mozambique. This game will also officially kick off the FIBA World Championships for Women in Turkey.

This game will feature a growing Canadian talent in Kia Nurse, who also happens to be a freshman on the UConn Huskies. This will also test Team Canada's chemistry and their ability to play together as a team.

Yet with all due respect to Mozambique, Team Canada should win this game easily.

Things to watch for:

- Good ball movement

- Three pointers

- Defense

Team Canada will showcase all of the above to come away with a win. The action gets underway early at 7:00 am EST. You can watch the game live on either ESPN3 or on NBATV Canada.
