WNBA Friday Open Thread: Four Games & the Naismith HOF ceremony starting at 6:30 p.m. ET

Talk about the games, and the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame induction ceremony here.

Cooper Neill

Let's get to the events of the day:

Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Ceremony, 6:30 p.m. ET

This will be on NBA TV.

The 1972-1974 Immaculata University women's basketball team will be honored, as well as former NBA Commissioner David Stern and former Tulsa Shock head coach Nolan Richardson, who will be honored for his time with the Arkansas men's basketball team of course.

Some of the notable Immaculata players include Judy Martelli, who is pictured above, and Marianne Stanley, who became the head coach at Old Dominion, Penn, Cal, and USC. And I didn't forget, she's a current assistant coach for the Washington Mystics:

Washington Mystics (14-15) at Indiana Fever (13-16), 7 p.m. ET

This game is on Fox Sports Indiana in the Indianapolis area.

Coaching will be a family affair as Mike AND Eric Thibault, take out their anger on Tamika Catchings and the Indiana Fever, because of the utter disrespect they were subject to last Wednesday.

Connecticut Sun (11-19) at New York Liberty (12-16), 7:30 p.m. ET

This game is on MSG in the New York area, CPTV Sports in the Connecticut market. The Sun will fight hard to win this game, because that would increase the chances of them getting two Top-4 picks in the 2015 WNBA Draft.

San Antonio Stars (13-17) at Tulsa Shock (11-19), 8 p.m. ET

This game is only on LiveAccess. Should be a very competitive game as the Shock try to avoid another 20-loss season, and the Stars try to stave off being a sub .500 team.

Atlanta Dream (17-12) at Los Angeles Sparks (13-16), 10:30 p.m. ET

This game is on TWC SportsNet in the L.A. area.

Sho-time, meet Showtime. This game should be interesting, but considering how shaky Schimmel played last night, I don't think she'll be on the court as much tonight. But it is L.A....

That's all I have, enjoy the games everyone.
