Kris Willis of Peachtree Hoops noted Angel McCoughtry's shot selection as a problem for the Atlanta Dream in their "heartbreaking" 81-80 loss to the Chicago Sky tonight.
Atlanta's final possession was a illustration of how most of the fourth quarter had gone. The ball found its way to McCoughtry who then tried to attack multiple defenders. Somehow she got an attempt off that bounced three times on the rim before falling away giving Chicago the victory...McCoughtry added 17 but was 5-18 from the floor and her shot selection down the stretch could be described as atrocious.
To illustrate Willis' point, here's McCoughtry's shot chart for the fourth quarter, which included a 3-point shot with 1:02 left in the game and the Dream up by two points.
