Shock vs. Fever video: Diggins makes a sick crossover, but Catchings saves the day

Skylar Diggins had an ESPN caliber highlight early on. But Tamika Catchings made the game winning shot for the Indiana Fever (9-10), who defeated the Tulsa Shock (7-12) on the road Tuesday, 78-76.

We have been oohing and aahing over Washington Mystics guard Bria Hartley, the behind-the-back crossover queen of the WNBA.

But she is going to have some stiff competition. Tulsa Shock and now All-Star starting guard Skylar Diggins made Indiana Fever guard Briann January look silly out there during the first quarter during Tuesday night's game. Soon after the crossover, Diggins made a pull up jump shot. A video of the play is embedded above.

Yikes. What's up with the Indiana Fever and getting crossed over on the court?

But at the end of the game, Tamika Catchings made a backdoor cut and a point blank layup with 5 seconds left, which helped them win the game:

The Indiana Fever has now been on the wrong end of the highlight reel twice this season due to guards falling sideways to crossover dribbles. But Maggie Lucas and Briann January would definitely prefer the 2-0 record Indy has in those games.
