WNBA Sunday Game Thread: Three games starting at 3 p.m. ET

Talk about the games here.

Three more games to finish the weekend, so let's get to them.

1. Minnesota Lynx (19-6) at Connecticut Sun (10-15), 3 p.m. ET

Ths Sun is currently last place in the East, but is also just half a game behind the Chicago Sky for fourth in conference. Therefore, it's not exactly like this team is clearly on the outside looking in. That said, Connecticut is 2-8 in its last ten games, worse than all the other teams in the Eastern Conference. Unfortunately, it's going to be tough for the Sun to beat the Lynx. They're on a six game winning streak and it's going to be hard to stop them.

2. Atlanta Dream (15-8) at Washington Mystics (12-13), 4 p.m. ET

Today is the game of the day because this is between the top team, and the hottest team in the Eastern Conference. With the Fever winning Saturday against the San Antonio Stars, they now hold the edge over D.C. for the second seed in the East.

Today is the Mystics' breast cancer game so they will be wearing pink jerseys for this game. It will also have a more significant meaning for one of their veteran leaders.

As one of our resident Mystics fans pointed out Saturday, Ivory Latta announced that she had a breast cancer scare in the early part of the season. Fortunately, the lump she had was benign, but Latta will get it removed after the season is over.

Monumental Network's Christy Winters-Scott has an extended video interview with Latta which is embedded above or click here.

3. Chicago Sky (10-14) at Tulsa Shock (8-17), 4:30 p.m. ET

Chicago tries to get its win streak to three in a row, and on the road in Tulsa. The Shock has lost two straight games, and hopefully this team can get some wins to finish the season on a good note, even though as we've said a number of times, a lottery pick isn't bad for the Black and Gold long term. Oddly enough, most teams in the East could use such a pick themselves.

That's all I got. Enjoy your Sundays everyone.
