Here's what's on the docket.
1. New York Liberty (9-13) at Seattle Storm (9-16), 10 p.m. ET
Watch this on LiveWell if you're in the Seattle area, brought to you by my appliance store chain.*
Both teams haven't been doing well this season for various reasons. In New York, it's because the team mortgaged the future for a superstar and now doesn't have much depth among other things. Oddly enough, this team is now 4th in the East, primarily because other teams like Chicago and Connecticut, have been slumping.
In Seattle, the team has just run its course and we SAW this coming THHHREE YEARS AGO! (saying this in a commentator's voice)
2. Phoenix Mercury (19-3) at Los Angeles Sparks (10-13), 10:30 p.m. ET
Watch this on TWC SportsNet if you're in the L.A. area. Nationally it is on NBA TV as well.
The Sparks lost at the last second Wednesday to the Liberty. But they can't dwell on that because this game is a bigger challenge.
The biggest winner in this Sparks saga? Sandy Brondello!
That's all I have, enjoy the games everyone!
*This is a joke.
