Here are the games on the docket today:
1. Connecticut Sun (9-13) at Seattle Storm (9-14), 3 p.m. ET
This is on LiveWell in the Seattle area, CPTV Sports nationally. The Storm will have its annual kiddie game, and keep its playoff hopes alive. Meanwhile, the Sun tries to improve its 2-8 record on the road. Seattle is my favorite here.
2. Los Angeles Sparks (9-11) at Indiana Fever (10-11), 8 p.m. ET
This is the first game of two on ESPN2.
The Sparks try to get closer to .500 and the Fever try to get back to that mark. I hope that Candace Parker doesn't cross over one of the Fever's players so I put up a THIRD highlight video of an Indy player getting crossed over. But on the flip side, maybe they'll win the game because of it!
3. Washington Mystics (9-12) at Phoenix Mercury (16-3), 10 p.m. ET
This is our second game on ESPN2. The Mystics on paper should be blown out by 30, and the four letter network hopes Brittney Griner should have a putback dunk on Stefanie Dolson. But the Mystics have often won games when people wrote them off for the season.
Last season, they swept the Lynx and beat them on the road when no one gave them a chance. And should they win, the Mystics would have won three straight games, all on the road.
That's all I have, enjoy the games!
