Happy Thursday. Here are the games on the docket for tonight.
1. San Antonio Stars (3-4) at New York Liberty (2-4), 7 p.m. ET
Watch this game on MSG if you're in the NYC area.
Both teams head into this matchup after losing two straight and look to change their fortunes tonight. If the Libs lose tonight, this season may become a big disappointment considering their big moves in the offseason.
2. Washington Mystics (3-2) at Connecticut Sun (2-5), 7 p.m. ET
The Mystics will play three games in four days, starting with this test against another young team. The Sun has lost five games this season, sure. But four of those losses were on the road. I can go either way on which team wins.
The other big story is that Dolson and Hartley return to Connecticut for the first time as professionals. Kalana Greene played for the Sun last season and also went to UConn. And Mike Thibault was the Sun's long time head coach.
Nate also really, really loves watching Coach T's pressers because he shows candor like no other. Here is a presser he gave to the Connecticut media. If you can't see the embed below, click here for the link from Monumental Network:
Bonus game: NBA Finals Game 1: Miami Heat at San Antonio Spurs, 9 p.m. ET
The game will be on ABC. This is a repeat of the 2013 Finals, which the Heat won in seven games. Check out SB Nation's preview by clicking here.
Enjoy the basketball everyone!
