Happy June everyone! Here are today's games:
1. Atlanta Dream (3-2) at Connecticut Sun (1-5), 3 p.m. ET
In the Connecticut area, watch WCTX-TV.
The Sun has not started out on the right foot this season. With the exception of a win against Seattle on May 23 and a May 18 loss to the Lynx, they have lost every game by double digits. Hopefully this game will be competitive, or I might as well readjust my preseason standings predictions and say that Connecticut will be last for the second straight year.
2. Los Angeles Sparks (2-1) at Washington Mystics (2-2), 4 p.m. ET
In the D.C. area, watch it on Monumental Network or Comcast SportsNet.
The Mystics have not had any success against the Sparks recently. Last year, they lost to the Sparks by double digits in their two regular season matches. Though this is a new season with new players on the lineup, it will be a tall order for Washington to pull this off.
3. Minnesota Lynx (6-0) at San Antonio Stars (3-3), 4:30 p.m. ET
The Lynx just beat this team last Friday at home, but will try to do the same this time in San Antonio. To put the Lynx's winning in perspective, they haven't lost since a regular season game on the road to the Los Angeles Sparks on September 12, 2013. Their winning streak is now at 17, including regular season and postseason games in 2013, plus preseason and regular season games in 2014.
4. Tulsa Shock (0-4) at Seattle Storm (1-5), 9 p.m. ET
This game is against the two bottom ranked teams in the Western Conference. I hope the Shock can win this one.
Enjoy the games today everyone!
