WNBA Game Previews: The Stars host the Shock and the Fever host the Mystics

There are two matinee preseason games today so let's get to them.

Jim O'Connor-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Tuesday everyone. Here are the preseason games on tap.

Tulsa Shock at San Antonio Stars

When and where? Game is at 11:30 a.m. ET at the Alamo Convention Center.

Why isn't at AT&T Center? The San Antonio Spurs are currently in the NBA Playoffs, and will play at 8:30 p.m. ET Tuesday against the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

What will be the keys to winning the game for both sides? For the Shock, Skylar Diggins will need to continue playing like the way she did last time and the Shock will need to keep pushing the tempo. The Stars need to improve on the boards on the other hand which is one major area of weakness they had from last Friday.

Washington Mystics at Indiana Fever

When and where? Game is at 12 p.m. ET at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

What will be the storylines of the game? For the Mystics, we will see Kara Lawson and Ivory Latta have their debut together and should have the upper hand on Indiana's backcourt, where Shavonte Zellous and Briann January are still overseas. Then we should also get a chance to see who steps up in regards to the loss of Jeanette Pohlen due to injury.

Which team wins? I'm going to say Washington will win this game.
