Washington Mystics attend the Wizards' playoff game against the Pacers

The Washington Mystics will play the Indiana Fever Tuesday, but they arrived a day early to see their brother team, the Washington Wizards take on the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Washington Mystics will play the Indiana Fever Tuesday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in their preseason debut. That game was delayed because the Washington Wizards played the Indiana Pacers on Monday in Game 1 of their second-round playoff series.

The Wizards won that game, 102-96. For more on that game, I wrote the recap from a Wizards fan perspective on SB Nation's Bullets Forever. Nathan S. of SB Nation's Indy Cornrows has a recap from a Pacers fan perspective.

Since the Mystics share the same ownership as the Wizards, and considering that they will play at the same arena on Tuesday, it should be no surprise that the team arrived in Indy one day early to watch the game, which they did from a suite. Here are some tweets below from the team, players, and Monumental Network's Casey Phillips:

Pretty cool stuff.

Seeing the Wizards' run in the NBA Playoffs has gotta be motivation for the Mystics to try to do the same soon.
