Kansas State has sent a letter to the Manhattan Mercury requesting the immediate removal of a specific letter - the letter in question is that of athletic director John Currie's. In the letter, he stated: "Although it is unprecedented, I believe that is in the student-athlete’s best interest for the committee to reconvene to consider this new information and potentially approve her request for a conditional transfer release."
