Four more conferences begin their tournaments today after an exciting slate of games yesterday.

It's Friday, and the madness is just getting started.

A few of yesterday's highlights from around the nation (and feel free to let us know which games you found interesting in the comments):

  • Florida State needed overtime to beat Miami. JP Mundy of SB Nation's Wake Forest blog Blogger So Dear recapped that one.
  • North Carolina Diamond DeShields is still the truth and used her truthiness to score a team-high 17 points to help the Tar Heels' overcome a 29-point performance from Wake Forest's Dearica Hamby.
  • In what was the last game of legendary basketball coach Paul Westhead's career at Oregon, the Ducks and Washington State Cougars set a Pac-12 tournament scoring record.
  • In a game with considerably less national significance, Jennifer Azzi's San Francisco Dons pulled out another dramatic win against Loyola Marymount with junior guard getting two steals, two offensive rebounds, and a game-winning shot in the final 15 seconds. Crazy finish. Video available at our recap.
  • Christina Foggie was injured in the second half of Vanderbilt's loss to Georgia.

Fun day. Here's hoping for more fun today.
