Results:

#6 Coastal Carolina 106, #11 Charleston Southern 71. The Chanticleers tied the record for most points in a half during a tournament game (54) and set the record for highest score in a tournament game.  Three Coastal Carolina players finished with 20 or more points.  Senior Coastal Carolina guard Angelica Henry became the first player in Big South Tournament history to score a triple-double in a tournament game. (30 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists.)  Coastal Carolina moves on to a Thursday match-up with #3 Winthrop.

#7 Presbyterian 54, #10 Longwood 40.  Longwood only shot 25.5 percent from the field. The game was tied 36-36 with 7:19 left, but the Blue Hose took a 18-4 run to break the game open.  Presbyterian will advance to play #2 Liberty on Thursday.

#8 UNC Asheville 43, #9 Radford 42. Bulldog junior guard Shonese Jones drove to the basket with Asheville down 42-41 and four seconds left on the clock.  Her drive missed and it was picked up on a rebound by junior forward Leah Wormack.  Wormack's shot missed, Jones got the rebound and put it in with time expiring.  UNC-Asheville moves on to play #1 seeded High Point on Thursday, March 6.

While the Big South players enjoyed some fun in the sun, the Patriot League match-ups take place at the home team of the higher seed.

#7 Boston University 40, #10 Loyola (MD) 35
