Per multiple reports, Duke point guard Alexis Jones is out for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.

She had an MRI Monday morning which revealed the extent of the injury. Jones hurt her knee with 11:50 left in the second half in Duke’s 81-70 loss to Notre Dame and did not return to the game.

This is a devastating blow for the Blue Devils, who have already lost Chelsea Gray (dislocated knee) for the rest of the season as well. Another member of Duke’s backcourt, Chloe Wells, is injured and has missed the last 8 games with a shin injury.

Jones was playing extremely well this year in her sophomore campaign. She was averaging 13.1 points and 6.5 assists.
