Daily Swish: A round up of weekend links

Here are some links over the past week, mostly in the WNBA, and some in the NCAA as well.

Mount St. Joseph forward Lauren Hill played in her second college game vs. Bethany College and scored a layup - Hill scored with her right hand, which is notable given that she is losing strength on that side of her body - Link to For a boxscore of the game, where MSJ lost, 69-64, click here to the University's site.

The NCAA announced that Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City will host a 2017 NCAA women's tournament regional final- Link to

San Antonio Stars center Jayne Appel is interning with St. Francis College's Sports Information Department - Appel is doing the internship to give her body rest after four years of overseas play, but also to prepare for her post-playing career, when that time comes. Link to

Mike Chiari of Bleacher Report has a mock 2015 WNBA Draft- He did not pick Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis of UConn to go #1 and predicted that Elizabeth Williams of Duke will be first instead.

This link is actually from last week, but Skylar Diggins talked to about her workout regimen - Given her improvement from her rookie to her sophomore season without playing internationally, can she make more improvements next season? We'll see.

Former WNBA player Nikki Teasley will be one of the organizers of the Basketball Dreams and Holiday Themes basketball tournament in Hagerstown, Maryland - Link to

Chicago Sky forward Elena Delle Donne has partnered with the Delaware 87ers NBA D League Team for the 2014-15 season - She will be featured on ticket packages and attend some games for the Philadelphia 76ers' D-League affiliate this season. Link to
