Here is a video interview of Paula Madison from KCAL TV in Los Angeles which was from last Friday, January 3 and an embed is below. It should be noted that this interview came before the news regarding the Golden State Warriors' interest in buying the team.
Madison believed that while owning the Sparks that there would be major sponsorship opportunities which would help support the team. It's hard to say from the video whether they include another major sponsor along the likes of Farmers Insurance, which was the team's marquee sponsor until 2013, or a replacement marquee sponsor for Farmers.
There also was an interview with a young girls basketball player who believes that if the Sparks do fold, it would make her sad, and that there would be less opportunities for her and other girls who aspire to play professionally in the future.
