Elena Delle Donne and Skylar Diggins to be in the 2014 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in New Orleans

The game will be held on Friday, February 14 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.  Tip off will be at 7:00 PM ET, and televised on ESPN.  Other notable players in this game include comedian Kevin Hart, US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, former NBA player Bruce Bowen, and "America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon.

Both Delle Donne and Diggins are entering their sophomore seasons in the WNBA, where they were the 2nd and 3rd picks in the 2013 WNBA Draft respectively.  Delle Donne also won the 2013 Rookie of the Year Award.

Also, as previously mentioned on this site, both players are spending the 2013-2014 offseason (or basically the timeframe of the NBA regular season) by staying in the United States, as opposed to playing in overseas leagues, which most WNBA players do instead, where they often earn larger salaries there than in the WNBA, which is a summer time league.
