Open Thread: Game 2 of the Conference Finals begin at 3:00 PM ET on ESPN2

As usual on Sundays, the W likes having games in the afternoon. But at this time of the year, it's time to watch NFL football, and the New England Patriots play the Atlanta Falcons tonight at 8:30 PM ET on NBC. There's never a perfect time to have these games, so arrange your TV watching accordingly. Game 2 of the Conference Finals begin at 3:00 PM ET, and they should be done before the Pats/Falcons game. Watch on ESPN2 or Watch ESPN.

The photo caption said Fred Williams was protesting a ref's call. In actuality, he was giving a sermon or is he trying to say "Touchdown?" Just look at him!

#2 Atlanta Dream at #4 Indiana Fever in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, 3:00 PM ET (ATL leads 1-0)

The Dream tries to get to its third Finals in four years by winning this game in Indy. But considering how the Fever ran over the Sky, I can't rule out the Fever winning this game either. After all, Game 1 did have a close finish until the end.

#1 Minnesota Lynx at #3 Phoenix Mercury in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, 5:00 PM ET (MIN leads 1-0)

If the Lynx win today, this is the first time they would have gone 4-0 to get there. However, I'm on record saying that Russ Pennell can fool the Lynx once, but not twice, so I believe the Mercury will win this game to extend the series and bring it back to the Twin Cities, a/k/a home of Hubert Humphrey, Prince, and you know who at this point, where the Lynx will dominate in the final Western Conference Finals game.

The Random SB Nation Song of the Day

We had kiss-gate last Thursday. That kiss was by no means romantic, but h/t to ttdomi for compelling me to play "Just a Kiss" by Lady Antebellum. And I do love this song actually, I can't believe that I'm playing two straight slow songs in a row on a game day. Feel free to speculate on more "Marry Me" signs that I would have the audacity of putting out there:

That's all from me. Enjoy today's games.
