Regardless of your rooting interests, the Phoenix Mercury's 78-77 win over the Los Angeles Sparks in Game 3 of the first round of the WNBA Playoffs was by far one of the best games of the 2013 WNBA season and it's a shame that this series can't be decided with (at least) a five-game series so these teams could continue battling like that.
Final: Mercury 78 Sparks 77. PHX: C Dupree 22pts, 4reb, 1ast LA: K Toliver 22pts, 6reb, 3ast (ESPN)

After the game, the focus on Twitter was the Sparks' final play in which Candace Parker was unable to get a clean shot off.
Fantastic final :10. Amazing what happens when you get Griner the ball!! Not impressed by final play, Parker was hung out to dry.

TERRIBLE decision by C. Parker. girl who passed her the ball was wide open..and she still had time to pass instead shot a crooked 1 leg 3ptr

Man let me say this, LA and @Candace_Parker earned my respect back. I know it means nothing now but they played a helluva game

There'll be plenty of legacy talk to go around given what happened on the final three possessions, but let's put that off for now. What did you think of that last sequence of plays?
