Open Thread: Two Games for Thursday starting at 8:00 PM ET

Four Western Conference teams play tonight, and their seedings are all decided. But maybe something will be interesting. Games are all on LiveAccess, one on old media via NBA TV.

Christian Petersen

1. Seattle Storm (15-17) at Tulsa Shock (11-21), 8:00 PM ET

The Storm tries to keep hopes of a .500 record alive and get one win against the black and gold. At this point in the season with the fourth seed intact, the Green and Gold might as well try to end the regular season on a good note.

2. Minnesota Lynx (25-7) at Los Angeles Sparks (22-10), 10:00 PM ET

This is on NBA TV. The Sparks have beaten the Lynx in both of their home games this season vs. the best team in the West, and try to make it three.

The Random SB Nation Song of the Day

Most of the writers, minus Nate here are eating crow for dinner for the second straight night thanks to the Seattle Storm because we counted them out in the preseason. Then when the Storm was actually winning some games, we lampooned the Green and Gold for running on the "Treadmill of Mediocrity." Well, with the Storm now in the Playoffs, Brian Agler gave us crow and lentil noodle soup and also a song from The Counting Crows, entitled "A Long December."

Enjoy the games tonight. I have to pack some of Wednesday's fried crow for tomorrow's lunch after I finish my soup.
