Open Thread: Two games starting at 7:30 PM ET

TGIF and welcome to the long Labor Day Weekend. Two games are on tonight in the evening. One is on NBA TV, all are on LiveAccess.

Soobum Im-USA TODAY Sports

1. Indiana Fever (12-15) at New York Liberty (11-17), 7:30 PM ET

This is on NBA TV nationally, and MSG Plus in the NYC area.

This is also the Game of the Night by default as playoff seeding implications are definitely in the cards. Indy wants to keep the pressure on the Washington Mystics for the third seed in the East. The Mystics want to keep pressure on the Dream for the second spot in the East. And the Libs with a win tonight will keep pressure on the Fever to stay in contention to make the playoffs. The Eastern Conference playoff race in may not be decided and settled until the last day of the regular season.

2. San Antonio Silver Stars (10-18) at Tulsa Shock (9-19), 8:00 PM ET

With the Storm getting past .500 now this late in the season, you might as well say that both teams in this match are playing for next season. But for the Shock in particular, this game is about as good as any (besides the Storm) to get to double digit wins for the season and give Coach Klop some tangible records to show Steve Swetoha that he's made progress from last year.

The Random SB Nation Song of the Day

I can't believe that it's been 10 years since 50 Cent released his first album. Here's his first number one single, "In Da Club." It still sounds like it can be a hit right now.

That's all I have for today. Enjoy the long weekends everyone!
