The nation's top recruit, A'ja Wilson, will be taking an unofficial to South Carolina this Thursday according to her father, Roscoe.
The 6'5" guard out of Columbia, South Carolina is highly sought after because of her unique skill set as a guard/wing. Wilson has had a very busy summer as played on the gold medal winning USA Women's U19 World Championship team. Only playing 16 minutes per game, she was third in scoring at 10.9 points per game and led the team in rebounding with 7.9 rebounds per game.
Wilson's father also stated that his daughter plans to sign with her school of choice in May. They want to take their time and really do their due diligence on the schools recruiting her.
"She's been very diligent in doing her research of schools; she's still wide open," said Wilson. "We haven't really locked on to any schools yet. She still has national tests to take; she has some assignments for school, (and) I don't want all of that (recruiting) stuff to get in the way."
