Open Thread: Three Games tonight on LiveAccess starting at 7:00 PM ET

Tonight we have three games on tap starting at 7:00 PM Eastern which can be viewed on local TV in some cases, and LiveAccess in others. Note that the fee for LiveAccess is $14.99 this season and you now must pay to watch games as the free trial weekend has passed.

EDD has her first home game tonight.

Now, the games on tap:

Atlanta Dream (1-0) at Indiana Fever (1-0), 7:00 PM ET

The Indiana Fever has its home opener tonight and will have its banner ceremony and ring presentation which starts at 6:40 PM. Fans who attend tonight's game will get replica championship rings. Reminds me a little bit of the Wizards game vs. the Pacers back this past April when all fans got replica championship rings in commemoration of the 1978 Bullets championship team and won the game in convincing fashion 104-85.

On local TV, watch Fox Sports Indiana if you're in the Hoosier State or SPSO if you're in ATL.

Tulsa Shock (0-2) at New York Liberty (0-1), 7:30 PM ET

Skylar Diggins and the Tulsa Shock start their four game road streak by going to the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ. Cappie Pondexter and the New York Liberty look to try to get their first win by doing it at home against a team that many have penciled in as a team on the rise and in the Western Conference Playoffs, myself included.

If you're in the NYC media market, turn on MSG+ to watch it on TV.

Connecticut Sun (1-0) at Chicago Sky (1-0), 8:30 PM ET

Epiphanny Prince, Elena Delle Donne, Sylvia Fowles, and the Sky enjoyed a great win over the Phoenix Mercury last Monday, but they're rewarded with a matchup against the reigning #1 team in the East for the 2012 regular season.

If you're in the Windy City, turn on WCIU-2 (aka The U Too) to watch this contest. If you're in Connecticut, turn on CPTV Sports.

With two of the Big Three rookies playing tonight, we had a lot of good responses.

Also two good stories on the site today.. One is James' post on a Sally Jenkins article from the Washiington Post in regards to women's college basketball. And as you all probably know, Nate broke you the news that Tina Thompson will call it a career after this season.

Random Music

Today, no Taylor, no Mariah, and no Stevie. At the Sky's home opener during halftime, De'Borah from "The Voice"'s 2012 season's list of contestants will perform. Her most watched video on YouTube was a cover of Train's "Hey, Soul Sister" and it's embedded below:

So that's all!

Again as I pointed out earlier today, if you really feel the urge to write something lengthy in a FanPost when you want to write a loooong comment, do that instead if you can. And as always, enjoy the basketball tonight!
