Oh boy....
The Sparks scored at least 25 points in each of the first three quarters of this game and shot 62% overall, and 75% from three (6-8 shots). The game was an even effort scoring wise with Kristi Toliver scoring 17 points. Lindsey Harding in her LA debut also had 8 assists with her 12 points. Rookie A'dia Mathies made two points in 11 minutes of action.
For the Storm, Tanisha Wright and Temeka Johnson had a combined 22 points and 10 assists but it wasn't enough. In terms of the rookie watch, Tianna Hawkins made her debut in green and gold where she scored 6 points and grabbed 3 boards in over 23 minutes.
With this game now in the record books, it kind of shows the talent disparity the Storm will have for much of this season but as we noted in our preview, it's not like missing the playoffs is a bad thing for them.
