Video: Kevin Durant on donating to Oklahoma tornado relief efforts and supporting the WNBA

Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star Kevin Durant spoke with reporters in Minneapolis about the devastating storm in Moore, Oklahoma and his support of the WNBA after attending today's Minnesota Lynx game at the Target Center.

We don't really want to get to the point where we're taking NBA All-Star Kevin Durant for granted, but this is pretty much what we should expect of him at this point: donating a million dollars to Red Cross relief efforts in the wake of the tornado that devastated Moore, Oklahoma yesterday and attending a WNBA game.

Durant told reporters that he attended the Minnesota Lynx game in support of his friend Monica Wright, who he's known since high school. But having also shown up at the NCAA women's basketball tournament this year it's not like you have to twist his arm to show up at a basketball game either.

"Well, I love basketball," Durant told reporters after the Lynx lost to the visiting Connecticut Sun in their final preseason game. "No matter who's playing, I love basketball. And these women come out here and play hard every single night and they deserve some credit."

This tweet summed up things nicely.
