Earlier today, the NBA's relocation committee voted 12-0 against the Sacramento Kings relocating to Seattle which at best (from the eyes of a Sonics fan) is a major roadblock for Chris Hansen and his ownership group's efforts to buy the team and move it to KeyArena this fall.
The NBA Board of Governors would be voting on May 13 to finalize the decision on the team's fate. With today's news occurring, this pretty much ensures that the Seattle Storm will still be the only professional basketball team in town for this year.
